Why content and context are so important…

Have you ever tried to explain something to someone and no matter how hard you try you can feel like they aren’t quite “getting it”?

Well that’s the same with sales If you don’t get your message just right then your audience doesn’t “get it” and the message misses the target.

With times changing and businesses really having to stand out from the crowd to be heard, a template from an inexperienced copywriter or a call with a sales person who isn’t trained to handle objections may not be enough to keep the prospects attention, in fact it can actually do more harm than good, not to mention the financial cost involved in sending out the wrong message then trying to correct it with follow up marketing.

Now more than ever it’s not just about the content it is about the context, so really ensuring your message is relatable to your prospects and ensuring they fully understand what you offer, how it can benefit them and what outcome they should expect is key.

The detail that goes into your marketing material whether that is introduction emails, website content or on a call is paramount to getting the message across.

Introducing your services in the right way is only halfway there though, most people can write some basic copy or get on a call and introduce your services to a prospect, but an introduction is only the start.
